Stripe fees, explained simply
What you actually pay when you sell a £20 ticket — and how to handle it transparently.
Stripe's standard UK fee is 1.5% + 20p for European cards, 3.25% + 20p for international. On a £20 ticket, that's roughly 50p for a UK card.
On top of that, Tickstler's platform fee is a flat per-ticket charge — see our pricing page. You can absorb both fees into the ticket price, or pass them on transparently at checkout.
Our recommendation: be transparent. Buyers respect an itemised receipt far more than a mysteriously inflated ticket price.
